Shower Doors
There are three basic types of shower doors. Framed doors are
panes that have a frame completely around the glass, usually with
3/16" or 1/4" glass. Semi-frameless are doors that
eliminate some of the vertical or horizontal metal to give a cleaner look, usually
using 1/4" glass. Heavy glass doors use 3/8" or 1/2"
glass and eliminate most, if not all, metal rails and rely on hinges,
clamps, and silicone to hold them in place which gives the cleanest
appearance possible.
