Etching
There are three basic types of sandblasting that can be done on glass.
1) Surface Etching - etching the surface
of the glass to five a silhouette of the design.
2) Shading - also etching, only the top layer of the glass but using gray
tones to give a 3-D image look.
3) Deep Carving - etching into glass with some depth to create a 3-D look.
Color can also be added to etching to give a different visual appearance.
